POLITIQUE DE CONFIDENTIALITÉ
Privacy Statement
AutoFi, Inc. (“AutoFi”) maintains this Web site and associated service for information and communication purposes, as well as for purposes associated with automobile loans (the “Service”). The Service includes all applications, services, and associated portals. AutoFi is committed to protecting the privacy of information submitted through the Service. This Privacy Statement outlines how AutoFi collects, uses and protects such information.
1. Web Sites Covered
This Privacy Statement covers the information practices of the Service. When sites are posted by AutoFi, the site will link to this Privacy Statement, and this Privacy Statement applies. When sites are posted by third parties, the privacy statement of the third party applies, and this Privacy Statement does not apply. The Service may contain links to other Web sites, including other AutoFi Web sites. This Privacy Statement applies only to information submitted through the Service and does not govern the information practices or the content of such other Web sites. AutoFi encourages you to review the privacy statements of other Web sites to understand their information practices.
2. Personal Information Collected
Personally identifiable information may be submitted through the Service, which may include: name, address, e-mail address and telephone number; age, date of birth and social security number; and financial information, including assets, income, and bankruptcy history.
3. Use of Information Collected
AutoFi uses information collected to perform the services requested. AutoFi does not disclose any personally identifiable information to anyone, except as permitted or required by law. For example, personally identifiable information may be used or shared to comply with any law, regulation, audit or court order. In the event that our business or substantially all of the assets of the business are acquired, personally identifiable information may be one of the transferred assets.
4. Web Site Navigation Information
AutoFi uses commonly used information-gathering tools, such as cookies, to collect information as users navigate the Service (“Web Site Navigational Information”). This section describes the types of Web Site Navigational Information AutoFi may collect and how AutoFi may use this information.
5. Cookies
AutoFi uses cookies to make interactions with the Service easy and meaningful. When a user accesses the Service, AutoFi’s servers send a cookie to the user’s computer. Standing alone, cookies do not personally identify you. They merely recognize your web browser. Unless you choose to identify yourself to AutoFi, either by responding to a promotional offer, opening an account, or filling out a web form (such as a “Contact Me” or a “30-Day Free Trial” web form), you remain anonymous to the AutoFi.
There are two types of cookies: session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer.
If you have chosen to identify yourself to AutoFi, the AutoFi uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow AutoFi to uniquely identify you. Each time you access the Service, a session cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed in your browser. These session cookies allow AutoFi to uniquely identify you when you are navigating the Service and to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies are required to use the Service.
AutoFi uses persistent cookies that only AutoFi can read and use to identify browsers that have previously accessed the Service. When you access the Service or provide the Company with personal information, a unique identifier is assigned to you. This unique identifier is associated with a persistent cookie that AutoFi places on your web browser. AutoFi is especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, AutoFi does not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. If you disable your web browser’s ability to accept cookies, you will be able to navigate the Service, but you will not be able to successfully use the Service.
6. IP Addresses
When you access the Service, AutoFi collects your Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses to track and aggregate non-personally identifiable information. For example, AutoFi uses IP addresses to monitor the regions from which users navigate the Service.
7. Third-Party Cookies
From time-to- time, AutoFi engages third parties to track and analyze non-personally identifiable usage and volume statistical information from individuals who access the Service. AutoFi may also use other third-party cookies to track the performance of AutoFi advertisements. The information provided to third parties does not include personal information, but this information may be re-associated with personal information after AutoFi receives it. This Privacy Statement does not cover the use of third-party cookies.
8. Sharing of Information Collected
AutoFi may share Data About AutoFi Customers with AutoFi’s agents to ensure the quality of information provided. AutoFi does not share, sell, rent, or trade personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
AutoFi reserves the right to disclose personally identifiable information provided by users if required by law or if AutoFi reasonably believes that disclosure is necessary to protect AutoFi’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
9. Security
AutoFi is committed to protecting the confidentiality of your information and online transactions. We use 128-bit SSL encryption, the highest level of protection offered for Internet communications, to encrypt your data. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect your personal information. We have security procedures in place to safeguard against loss, theft, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, and modification of this information after we receive it. For example, AutoFi encrypts all personally identifiable information within our database and restricts access to the information to our employees, agents and contractors who need to know such information to provide products or services to you.
10. Changes to this Privacy Statement
AutoFi reserves the right to change this Privacy Statement at any time. You will not be given any notice to these modifications. Your continued use of the Service after any changes are posted will be deemed to constitute your agreement to and acceptance of such changes to this Privacy Statement.
